Even if you are self-employed, we may still be able to help you and have lenders that will accept applicants who have a permanent residence outside of the UK.
We can also help international customers. So if you are a non-UK national, living abroad and would like to purchase a Buy to Let Investment property in the UK, we can help you to do this. You could be employed or self-employed in your country of residence. The list of countries from where applicants are accepted is quite large, so please contact us and we will be happy to help.

How do lenders assess my income?
Your income and expenditure will still need to be assessed, therefore documents evidencing income through accounts or payslips as well as bank statements are likely to be required.
My deposit is not currently in the UK, is that a problem?
If you are not currently residing in the UK, it is understandable that your savings may not be held in a UK bank account therefore such deposits are acceptable.
Will I be charged a higher interest rate because I do not live in the UK?
Whilst the interest rate is not directly linked to your geographical location, as there are fewer lenders offering products to Expats and International customers, the choice of interest rate will be limited by the range offered by the respective lenders.
Do I have to visit the UK to apply for the mortgage?
This is not necessary as the application can be processed remotely.
What if my Credit history in the UK is limited?
Whilst this could affect the product range that is available to you, you could still obtain a mortgage. The best thing in this situation would be to call us so that we can fully understand your specific circumstances.
Are these mortgages available even if I currently do not own a property?
Yes, expat mortgages and mortgages for our international customers are available to first time buyers.
